Sussex Steel is a charity created by individuals who are passionate about steelpan and committed to increasing the musical opportunities for people in Sussex and beyond. They teach steelpan in schools and workshops, and run several bands. They are looking for someone to look after the financial aspects of the charity and be the main contact with their accountants. Duties will include: expenses, payments, banking, wages and cash flow. The role would suit someone with experience of financial accounting, ideally with a charity, and can be carried out in your own home; although you will be required to attend monthly trustee meetings.
