The Beeches Primary School

The Beeches Primary School is located in Peterborough, England.

The school steelband was formed in May 2008 and is called the Sandy Beeches Steel Band.

The steelband was formed after the school obtained a Lottery Grant to form a school and community group to take part in the annual Lord Mayor’s Parade.

The steelband practice once a week for an hour and is taught by the Headteacher. There is also a staff group who practice once a week.

The pupils have played at the annual Summer Fair, entertained a local primary school and play a Christmas Concert for a local Hospice every December.
